21st Annual Gore Motors Toy Odyssey Donation Drive In support of The Faye Peterson Transition Hous

Rock 94, 91.5 CKPR and Energy 103 104 are proud to support The 21st Annual Gore Motors Toy Odyssey Donation Drive

In support of The Faye Peterson Transition House

It’s that special time of year again, let’s celebrate by giving!

The 21st Annual Gore Motors Toy Odyssey Donation Drive has begun!

COVID has stopped many things in our lives, but COVID is not going to stop us from giving!

Over the past 21 years, with help from the Thunder Bay community, we have filled the Honda Odyssey with donated toys and helped bring smiles to so many children’s faces at Christmas each year.

This year, due to COVID, instead of collecting toys for the children, we are collecting donations online so that toys can be purchased for them.

Make a donation to our go fund me page. All proceeds go to The Faye Peterson Transition House (Crisis Homes Inc.) who provides safe temporary shelter and support to women, youth and children.

If you can't make a donation, please do your part by sharing this page with family and friends.

Support a great cause.

Ends December 22, 2020. Donate today! Let’s help make Christmas a little brighter for children less fortunate...

Toys for Tots

Rock 94, 91.5 CKPR and energy 103 104 are proud to support Toys for Tots 2020

Toys for Tots is a local charity coordinated by the Thunder Bay Professional Firefighter’s Association.  The volunteer-led initiative has been operating in the community for over 70 years, providing toys for children who are in need that would otherwise go without a gift during the holiday season.

Over the past seven decades, with the generous help from the community, Toys for Tots has helped thousands of families celebrate Christmas. Back in the earlier years of the campaign, Thunder Bay firefighters actually repaired old wooden toys. The campaign has since evolved into primarily accepting financial contributions, with more than 175 off-duty firefighters volunteering for the campaign annually.

Last year, $134,000 was raised bringing over hundreds toys into homes before Christmas Eve.

2020 has been a challenging year for many and we understand the need is greater this year, and only continues to rise. This will be one of the most important years in Toys for Tots history.  Thunder Bay Firefighters hope to be among Santa’s biggest helpers, so children can safely receive a gift this December.

100% of all donations go to children in need in Thunder Bay.

How to donate:

1) Online at: 2) Visit the Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Booth at Intercity Shopping Centre (Near the Food Court) 3) Go to any TD Bank Location 4) Text CHEERFORTOTS to 20222 to donate $10 or $25

Toys for Tots By the Numbers

Since 2010:

• 30,000 Children helped

• Over $1,000,000 raised

• 175 Off-Duty Firefighters volunteer per year

“We host Toys for Tots every year because we know there are many children and families who don’t have the resources to have a happy holiday. It’s fun helping Santa Claus.”
